SUMMARY:Study Hall - The Draw
DESCRIPTION:Registration Closed.  Critical Edge has started offering a continuing series of “Study Hall” sessions.  Each one focuses on a particular skill or concept related to personal security and includes a brief classroom session as well as practical exercises.   A previous session addressed the basics of low-light defensive shooting.   This session will focus on drawing a pistol from concealment. \nStudy Hall sessions are open to U.S. citizens age 21 and above that may legally possess a firearm.   There are no prerequisites for the sessions.  But\, taking the NRA Basic Pistol course or equivalent before joining a Study Hall session is highly encouraged.  The sessions are conducted on a compressed schedule.  Time constraints do not permit a review of basic pistol skills.  Students must be familiar with their pistol\, its operation and demonstrate safe firearms handling skills throughout the session. \nDate – April 19th 2021.  The Study Hall will be will be held on Monday April 19th in the Duncannon Sportsmen’s Association clubhouse.   This is not a live fire session.  We will be making use of SIRT laser pistols for the training session.  We will begin at 6:30 PM and conclude at about 8:30 PM.  This Study Hall is limited to six Participants. \nTo reserve a spot please go to the following to make payment:  https://criticaledge.us/make-a-payment/  The fee for the session is $20.00.  To finalize registration\, please also send an email (to:  carl.walker@criticaledge.us ) with the following information: \nYour name; \nMailing address; \nPhone number; \nPlease indicate if you are a member of the Duncannon Sportsmen’s Association; \nYour interests with regard to firearms and any firearms; and \nA brief description of your previous experience with firearms; and any personal security goals you may have. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
