CARL WALKER

Carl Walker is an attorney with a long history of involvement in personal security. He began studying martial arts in 1967. Over the following decades, he trained in various Japanese armed and unarmed disciplines including Karate, Judo, Kendo, Iaido and Ailkido. He achieved his first black belt in 1970, lived and trained in Japan in 1984/1985, and over the years, has served as a martial arts instructor at Colorado State University, the University of Colorado, the University of Idaho, as well as various U. S. Marine Corps bases and stations and formal dojos. He has had a lifelong interest in the use of firearms and started shooting at a very early age under the close tutelage of his Grandfather. He began shooting competitively while in high school. He is a certified NRA instructor and a retired Marine having had deployments to Asia, the Middle East and Central Asia. More recently, he deployed in 2016 -2017, as a US Navy civilian employee, to serve as an advisor in Afghanistan and again to Afghanistan during 2018 and 2019 as a contractor.
